Richie Quartey vs Mykelti Salifu

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghana National Finals 2022,  taking place on 29/03/2022 from Takoradi, Ghana:

The Takoradi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Richie Quartey (25(1) - 6) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Mykelti Salifu(14 - 9) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Salifu sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Quartey is on target with a stinging overhand right.  
Quartey switches the action to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.
