Mark Adam vs Peter Strang

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2026,  taking place on 14/04/2026 from Wellington, New Zealand:

The Wellington venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mark Adam (7 - 5) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Peter Strang(14 - 6) from Waitakere, New Zealand.

Strang gets on the inside.  Strang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.

Strang advances into close range.  Strang sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Strang hits home with a solid right hook.

Adam advances into close range and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Strang advances into close range.  Strang pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a firm right hook into Adam's body.  
Strang closes the distance.  Strang pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Strang sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.
