The Training screen can be accessed from the ProBoxer Detail screen by selecting the option from the drop down menu.
The screen gives information about the fighters current training status, which may be Training, Recovering, Injured, in Fight Camp or Sparring. If Recovering/Injured it will also state the date they can start training again. If in Training or Fight Camp, you can invite sparring partners from this screen. This is not essential, as when in Fight Camp, sparring will automatically be arranged with other fighters in the same trainers gym around the same weightclass (2 below, up to 2 above your fighters weightclass) at no cost. However, if you want that extra bit of prep, you can invite a sparring partner. When preparing for a fight, the best sparring is with fighters who have the same stance/style as the opponent, and have a good class. Sparring also increases the fighters experience against the opponents stance/style. Up to 2 sparring partners can be invited at any one time. Note that inviting 2 sparring partners just means your fighters time is split between the two rather than doubling the amount of experience gained. when a fighter is sparring, he will continue to get his normal monthly attribute updates from training, so if you are waiting for a fight opponent to become available and don't want to risk a keep-busy fight, getting your fighter sparring against the best available fighters is a risk-free way of increasing your fighters experience against that style. If your fighter has accepted an offer to spar at another gym, he cannot go into fight camp until the sparring is over. With regards to fight prep, the game has minimum fight prep based on the number of rounds, but also an optimal fight prep where in-fight stats are slightly enhanced; #Rounds Min Prep Opt Prep 4 1 3 - 11 6 2 4 - 11 8 3 5 - 11 10 4 6 - 11 12 5 7 - 11 If you go over the maximum optimal prep (11 weeks) then your fighter has over-trained and will have reduced in-fight stats Training is simulated every month from the date the trainer is assigned. You can look at how stats are increasing from training and fights by looking at the Attribute History for fighters - you can get to this by clicking the attribute subheadings from the pro boxer detail screen (e.g. Skills, physical, mental) Whether the fighters attributes increase each month depends on a random factor, but the following is considered: 1) the fighters training score 2) the trainers stat for training that style 3) the trainers stat for the attribute 4) the chemisty between trainer and boxer (stops making a difference once up to 80) 5) the fighter's home pref if higher than 600 - this will make more of a difference the further the fighter is away from their home town. Most fighters attributes will only decrease if they "fail" the monthly calculation AND they are on the slide.
