Fighters contracts are renewed from the ProBoxer detail screen.
The contract renewal will only show if the fighter has 7 months or less left on his contract Whether the fighter renews and how long he will renew for depends on how much "promoter relationship" points he has accumulated with you. This stat is represented by the boxer status - e.g. satisifed with your performance, thinks you aren't really trying etc, but is also displayed numerically in the Contract History section Generally, if a fighter is satisfied (relate score 401+) he will be ok to resign for another year. The more points, the longer he is willing to sign. Loyalty however also plays a part. A low loyalty fighter with 401 relate score will still be willing to sign a 1 year extention, but may not be willing to sign 2 or 3 year extentions even if "happy" with you. Also, a low loyalty fighter will demand more money to renew. How to keep a fighter happy? getting decent fights and meeting targets. different personality fighters can also have different motivations. you can keep a greedy fighter happy by paying him over the minimum. you can keep an ambitious fighter happy by finding title shots. a cautious fighter will be happy fighting safe opponents, but a warrior will be disappointed with any opponent less than 50 class below his (once he is past his novice years). What makes a fighter unhappy? rejecting fight offers and then accepting/making a "worse" fight. putting a fighter out with less than minimum prep. the more you undercut the prep the more annoyed he will be. especially if he is of cautious personality and not so much if a warrior. Also, inactivity - not fighting as often as he wants - will lose relate points. There is an "About: keeping your fighter happy" guide with further information about this Edited by administrator - 15 Jul 2020 at 1:18pm |
