This little guide will attempt to give you tips on how to keep your fighter happy so that they renew their contract.

Note that the actual points which their satisfaction rating is based on is now visible in the Contract History part of the Boxer Detail screen.  Fighters start with a score of 400, and need a score of at least 401 to renew.  The higher the score, the more years the fighters are willing to extend their contract by.

1.  Give adequate Prep date for fights.  Fighters like to have at least minimum prep for a fight.  if you want to schedule a 4 rounder, they should be in fight camp 1 weeks before.  6 rounds, 2 weeks before.  8 rounds, 3 weeks before.  10 rounds, 4 weeks before, and for 12 rounds, 5 weeks before.

The game automatically puts a fighter in fight camp when the min prep date is reached and they have a fight scheduled.  however, if you schedule a fight really late and the fighter is not already in camp then he will get a little annoyed when the fight is made.  There is a bit of leeway here.  Warriors don't mind as much as other fighters...cautious fighters REALLY DO mind.

2.  Pay attention to the boxers targets. If a novice fighter comes in and wants a 4 round fight every month, just do this and in 4 months time when the target is reviewed he will be that little bit more happy with you.  slightly missing the target won't make a difference.  being way off target will piss him off.  on the other side of the scale you will have fighters who want to fight at least every 4 months in 12 rounders and these targets are reviewed every 8 months.  achieving / exceeding such a target will please your fighter.

3.  Pay attention to your fighters personality when making fights

Greedy fighters will love you for giving them more money than they expect.  adding another 12% to their purse achieves the maximum modifier to their overall reaction on a fight being made.

Warriors get annoyed if put in with anyone more than 50 class below their own.  fighting higher class will make them happy.

Cautious fighters are happiest taking it slow.  putting them in with a fighter more than 100 class higher will upset them a bit.  putting them in with bums actually pleases them..you can never have too many learning fights (they think).

Ambitious fighters - these fighters will get happier fighting for titles.  fighters already do get happy when fighting for titles, but ambitious fighters will be even more pleased by such fights

4.  Pay attention to your fighters loyalty.
Loyal fighters will be happy to renew contracts  even if you haven't done much for them.
Low loyalty fighters on the other hand will be very hard to please - such fighters may only go for 1 year deals and will demand more money.
