I accidentally upgraded my gym that was already large scale. This turned my gym into a small size gym and now I cant add equipment.

weird one.

i'm guessing that was your chicago gym.  i have set it back to Large

Do you know what led to this?  is it that you upgraded to large, added some equipment then accidentally clicked the increase size again?
