Pakin Ekshyan vs Vahan Eghiayan

Boxing Daily Report from the Armenia National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from Yerevan, Armenia:

The Yerevan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Pakin Ekshyan (16 - 9) who hails from Yerevan, Armenia and Vahan Eghiayan(24 - 4) from Yerevan, Armenia.  

Round 1: 

Ekshyan steps to the outside and connects with an overhand left.  Ekshyan attempts to land an overhand right, but Eghiayan parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Eghiayan drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribcage.

Eghiayan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into Ekshyan's liver.

Ekshyan steps to the outside.  Ekshyan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Eghiayan gets on the inside.  Eghiayan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Ekshyan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Eghiayan steps inside.  Eghiayan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Ekshyan lands a right hook.  
Eghiayan advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Eghiayan connects with a right uppercut.
