Blake Lou vs Mike Harley

Boxing Daily Report from the Bahamas National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Blake Lou (4 - 8) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Mike Harley(15(1) - 10) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Lou lands an overhand right.  Lou throws a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Harley advances into close range.  Harley steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Lou tries to tag Harley on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Harley is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Harley lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Lou steps away from his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Lou tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Harley steps inside.  Lou pivots to the left of his opponent, but Harley lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Harley lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Harley gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Lou steps to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Lou throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Harley is looking to close the distance.  Lou throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Harley switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Harley is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Harley's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight.
