Enzo Marcos vs Vicente Gandara

Boxing Daily Report from the Brazil National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from Guarulhos, Brazil:

The Guarulhos venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Enzo Marcos (22 - 4) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Vicente Gandara(20 - 6) from Guarulhos, Brazil.  

Round 1: 

Gandara is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Marcos lands an overhand right, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Gandara closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Marcos lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Gandara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Marcos throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut to Marcos's body.  
Gandara sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Marcos finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Marcos attempts to land a left hook, but Gandara blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Marcos lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Gandara throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Marcos is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a sharp jab.  
Gandara is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.
