Boxing Daily Report from the Cameroon National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from Garoua, Cameroon:

The Garoua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Neville Nolet (17 - 9) who hails from Douala, Cameroon and Vachel Bazin(19 - 6) from Garoua, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Bazin advances into close range.  Nolet digs in a right hook to his opponents body.

Nolet sidesteps to the left of his opponent and finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Nolet steps to the outside and hits home with a solid jab.

Bazin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Nolet hits the target with a hard jab.  
Bazin lands with a stiff jab.  Bazin attempts to land a cross, but Nolet slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Nolet is looking to keep the action on the outside and strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Nolet switches the action to the outside and lands with a sharp jab.

Bazin tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a solid cross.  Bazin goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Nolet's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Nolet's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Bazin's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
