Fabron Robert vs Quennel Dongou

Boxing Daily Report from the Cameroon National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from Garoua, Cameroon:

The Garoua venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fabron Robert (16 - 11) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Quennel Dongou(6 - 5) from Douala, Cameroon.  

Round 1: 

Dongou connects with a right uppercut.  
Dongou forces Robert to retreat onto the ropes.  Dongou lands a left hook.  
Robert lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dongou is on target with a left uppercut.  
Robert switches the action to the outside.  Dongou tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Dongou manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Dongou pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dongou throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Dongou advances into close range.  Dongou quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Dongou throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Robert switches the action to the outside.  Robert drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Dongou tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Robert is on target with a cross.  
Robert feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dongou gets on the inside.  Robert lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Robert is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Dongou steps inside.  Robert is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Robert is on target with an overhand left.  
Robert lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.
