Jose Velarde vs Vicente Laura

Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/03/2022 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jose Velarde (21 - 6) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Vicente Laura(3 - 15) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Laura finds the target with a jab.  
Velarde steps inside.  Velarde digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Velarde sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Laura tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
