The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Canseco (16(1) - 11) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Fausto Mallen(14 - 9) from San Jose, Costa Rica.

Mallen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Canseco lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Mallen hits home with an overhand left.  
Mallen closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Mallen manouvers Canseco into a corner.  Mallen connects with a solid right uppercut.

Canseco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.  
Canseco closes the distance.  Canseco throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Mallen time to recover.  
Mallen walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Canseco hits home with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Canseco's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
