Boxing Daily Report from the Egypt National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/03/2022 from Alexandria, Egypt:

The Alexandria venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Amer Qureshi (23 - 9) who hails from Suez, Egypt and Amer Sabahi(14 - 12) from Cairo, Egypt.

Qureshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Qureshi strikes his opponents body with a cross.  Qureshi throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Qureshi tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Qureshi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Qureshi hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Sabahi closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Qureshi ties up his opponent.  Qureshi pushes his forearm into Sabahi's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Qureshi to stop fouling.
