Desislav Yankov vs Kamen á Shopov

Boxing Daily Report from the Bulgaria National Finals 2022,  taking place on 17/03/2022 from Plovdiv, Bulgaria:

The Plovdiv venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Desislav Yankov (25 - 4) who hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and Kamen á Shopov(20(1) - 8) from Varna, Bulgaria.  

Round 1: 

Shopov digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Shopov is looking to close the distance.  Shopov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Yankov attempts to land a left hook, but Shopov slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Shopov forces Yankov to retreat onto the ropes.  Shopov is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shopov closes the distance.  Yankov drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Yankov lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Shopov is looking to close the distance.  Yankov is on target with a right hook to Shopov's body.  
Yankov tries to keep the action at long range.  Yankov is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Shopov hits home with a cross.  Shopov throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shopov gets on the inside.  Yankov is on target with a right uppercut to Shopov's body.  
Yankov throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Yankov tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Shopov steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Yankov parries the shot and counters with a cross.
