Forrest Dewaere vs Garen Lucier

Boxing Daily Report from the France National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/03/2022 from Grenoble, France:

The Grenoble venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Forrest Dewaere (25(1) - 5) who hails from Paris, France and Garen Lucier(10 - 5) from Brest, France.  

Round 1: 

Dewaere advances into close range and digs in a stinging right uppercut to Lucier's body.

Lucier drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Dewaere sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right uppercut into Lucier's body.  
Dewaere lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Dewaere is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dewaere lands a right hook.  
Lucier lands a left hook.  
Lucier lands a stiff jab.  
Lucier sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Dewaere is on target with a firm right uppercut.

Lucier throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dewaere throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Lucier time to recover.  
Dewaere digs in a right hook to Lucier's body.  
Dewaere walks his opponent into the corner.  Dewaere digs in a right uppercut to Lucier's body.  
Dewaere steps inside.  Lucier throws a right hook, but Dewaere ties up his opponent.  Dewaere is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Dewaere pushes his forearm into Lucier's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dewaere.  
Lucier lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Dewaere holds on to his opponent.  Dewaere is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Dewaere closes the distance and is on target with a WICKED left hook.  LUCIER IS DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT LUCIER IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Dewaere!
