Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/03/2022 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Chris Ard (18 - 8) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Peter Haig(8 - 5) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Haig advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ard steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a solid jab.
