Canon Delon vs Leggett Baxa

Boxing Daily Report from the Haiti National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/03/2022 from Delmas, Haiti:

The Delmas venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Canon Delon (24 - 5) who hails from Petionville, Haiti and Leggett Baxa(21 - 4) from Carrefour, Haiti.  

Round 1: 

Delon attempts to land a jab, but Baxa slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Baxa lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Baxa is on target with a jab.  
Delon gets on the inside and lands a stinging right hook.  
Baxa pivots to the side of his opponent, but Delon connects with a firm cross.  
Delon pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Baxa lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Baxa switches the action to the outside and lands with a stinging jab.  
Baxa throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Delon is looking to keep his distance.  Baxa tries to land a jab, but Delon slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Delon is looking to close the distance and drives a solid right hook into Baxa's body.  
Delon lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.

Delon tries to step out of his opponents range.  Baxa attempts to land a jab, but Delon blocks the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Baxa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Delon lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Baxa tries to keep the action at long range.  Baxa sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a sharp jab.

Baxa steps to the outside.  Delon is on target with a solid cross.  
Delon advances into close range and is on target with a solid right hook.  
Baxa pivots to the side of his opponent, but Delon lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Delon steps inside and connects with a solid right hook.  
Delon walks Baxa onto the ropes.  Delon lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Baxa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Delon throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Delon's ribcage.
