Ananta Shokeen vs Kailash Bhattacharya

Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/03/2022 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ananta Shokeen (10 - 11) who hails from Howrah, India and Kailash Bhattacharya(15(1) - 9) from New Delhi, India.  

Round 1:

Bhattacharya steps inside.  Bhattacharya sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.

Bhattacharya quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bhattacharya connects with a left hook.  Shokeen ties up his opponent.  Bhattacharya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Shokeen's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
