Boxing Daily Report from the Greece National Finals 2022,  taking place on 29/03/2022 from Piraeus, Greece:

The Piraeus venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Phineas Gounaris (13 - 13(7)) who hails from Athens, Greece and Stefano Vidales(20 - 7) from Athens, Greece.

Vidales sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Gounaris digs in a left hook to Vidales's body.  
Vidales manages to force Gounaris into the corner.  Vidales lands a cross.  
Vidales quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Vidales lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Vidales feints a right, and then lands with a ramrod jab.  
Gounaris is on target with a left hook.  
Gounaris manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Vidales lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Vidales throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Gounaris time to recover.  
Gounaris sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Vidales connects with a left hook.  
Gounaris lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gounaris drives a cross into Vidales's body.  
Gounaris advances into close range.  Vidales drives a left uppercut into Gounaris's liver.  
Vidales lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Gounaris is looking to close the distance.  Vidales throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Vidales clinches his opponent.  Vidales pushes his forearm into Gounaris's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Gounaris throws a right hook, but Vidales clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Vidales pushes his forearm into Gounaris's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Vidales to stop fouling.
