Elliot Hercules vs Robert Cragg

Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2022,  taking place on 29/03/2022 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Elliot Hercules (15 - 11) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Robert Cragg(3 - 5) from Linden, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Hercules closes the distance.  Hercules sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cragg tries to land a jab, but Hercules sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Hercules manouvers Cragg onto the ropes.  Hercules is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Hercules lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hercules drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hercules steps away from his opponent.  Hercules waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Cragg connects with an overhand right.  
Hercules steps inside.  Cragg is on target with a left hook.  Cragg attempts to land a right hook, but Hercules blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Hercules closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.

Hercules steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Hercules throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Cragg pushes his forearm into Hercules's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cragg to stop fouling.  
Hercules steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Hercules drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  Hercules tries to land a jab, but Cragg sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
