Hugh Motto vs Robert Harkness

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2022,  taking place on 29/03/2022 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Hugh Motto (12(1) - 15) who hails from New Kingston, Jamaica and Robert Harkness(19 - 5) from Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Harkness finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Harkness advances into close range.  Harkness pivots from in front of his opponent, but  throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Harkness time to recover.
