Inigo Iringo vs Quaddus Zaman

Boxing Daily Report from the Kenya National Finals 2022,  taking place on 29/03/2022 from Athi River, Kenya:

The Athi River venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Inigo Iringo (21 - 8) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Quaddus Zaman(22(1) - 9) from Kikuyu, Kenya.  

Round 1: 

Zaman throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Iringo tries to step out of his opponents range.  Zaman lands a cross.  
Iringo is on target with a solid left uppercut to Zaman's ribs.  
Zaman walks Iringo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Iringo is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Iringo throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Zaman cuts off the ring, trapping Iringo in a corner.  Zaman connects with a right hook.

Zaman quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Iringo's body.  
Zaman attempts to land a right hook, but Iringo blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Iringo lands a sharp cross.  
Zaman steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Zaman digs in a sharp left hook to Iringo's body.  
Zaman finds the target with a jab.  
Iringo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Zaman lands a solid jab.
