Boxing Daily Report from the Honduras National Finals 2022,  taking place on 01/04/2022 from Tegucigalpa, Honduras:

The Tegucigalpa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Jesus (17(1) - 6) who hails from Tegucigalpa, Honduras and Hernan Medero(15 - 7) from Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  

Round 1: 

Medero lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.

Jesus sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Jesus attempts to land a jab, but Medero sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.
