Connor Laird vs Dave Moffett

Boxing Daily Report from the Jamaica National Finals 2022,  taking place on 01/04/2022 from Spanish Town, Jamaica:

The Spanish Town venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Connor Laird (23 - 6) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and Dave Moffett(20 - 8) from New Kingston, Jamaica.  

Round 1: 

Laird gets on the inside.  Moffett is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Moffett lands a stinging cross.  
Laird steps away from his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Laird closes the distance.  Laird pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.
