Roman Patron vs Seferino Villella

Boxing Daily Report from the Panama National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/04/2022 from Panama City, Panama:

The Panama City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Roman Patron (7(1) - 20) who hails from San Miguelito, Panama and Seferino Villella(9(2) - 19) from San Miguelito, Panama.

Patron connects with a cross.  
Patron feints a jab, and then throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Villella advances into close range and forces Patron to back into the red corner.  Patron digs in a stinging left hook to Villella's body.

Patron steps away from his opponent.  Villella hits home with an overhand right.  
Villella is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Patron hits home with a left hook.  Patron ties up his opponent.  Villella leans on his opponent using all his weight. Patron uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Villella's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Patron to stop fouling.  
Villella connects with a cross.  
Patron lands with a sharp jab.  
Patron lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Patron finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Villella gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Villella is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Villella walks Patron onto the ropes.  Patron throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Patron ties up his opponent.  Patron is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Villella's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
