Diego Allende vs Rio Capo

Boxing Daily Report from the Peru National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/04/2022 from Arequipa, Peru:

The Arequipa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Allende (22 - 6) who hails from Lima, Peru and Rio Capo(20 - 7) from Lima, Peru.  

Round 1: 

Allende is on target with a sharp jab.

Capo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Allende throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Capo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Allende's body.  
Capo gets on the inside and manouvers Allende onto the ropes.  Capo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Capo lands a left hook.  
Allende lands a cross.  
Allende lands a stiff jab.  
Allende is looking to keep his distance and connects with an overhand left.  
Capo closes the distance.  Capo pivots from in front of his opponent, but Allende digs in a left uppercut to Capo's body.  
Capo walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Capo lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Capo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Allende tries to step out of his opponents range.  Allende feints a jab, tricking Capo into countering with a left hook.  Allende is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Capo's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
