Esteban Ruan vs Lisandro Grajeda

Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2022,  taking place on 11/04/2022 from Carolina, Puerto Rico:

The Carolina venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Esteban Ruan (24 - 8) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Lisandro Grajeda(22 - 5) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Ruan advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ruan advances into close range and drives a firm right uppercut into Grajeda's body.  
Grajeda drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ruan throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Ruan manages to force Grajeda onto the ropes.  Ruan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Grajeda drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Ruan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ruan is looking to close the distance.  Grajeda lands a left hook.  
Ruan lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Ruan gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Grajeda connects with a right hook.  Ruan ties up his opponent.  Ruan pushes his forearm into Grajeda's face.  The referee warns Ruan and breaks the clinch.  
Ruan gets on the inside.  Ruan sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Grajeda digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.
