Boxing Daily Report from the Mexico National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/04/2022 from Ciudad Apodaca, Mexico:

The Ciudad Apodaca venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Cortez Quevedo (26 - 1) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Vicente Abascal(12 - 9) from Torreon, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Abascal is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.

Quevedo cuts off the ring, trapping Abascal in the corner.  Quevedo attempts to land a left hook, but Abascal parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Quevedo digs in a left hook to Abascal's ribs.  Quevedo throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.
