Billy Blaine vs Bradley Banker

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/04/2022 from Christchurch, New Zealand:

The Christchurch venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Billy Blaine (26 - 6) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Bradley Banker(22 - 6) from Auckland, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Banker is on target with a jab.  
Blaine is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Blaine closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Banker is looking to keep his distance.  Blaine lands an overhand left.  
Blaine forces Banker to retreat into the corner.  Blaine connects with a left uppercut.

Blaine closes the distance and forces Banker to back into the ropes.  Blaine sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Banker hits home with a left hook.  
Banker digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Banker is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Blaine lands an overhand right.  
Blaine digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Blaine is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.
