Boxing Daily Report from the Nigeria National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/04/2022 from Warri, Nigeria:

The Warri venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Etebo Nwosu (24 - 5) who hails from Ugep, Nigeria and Jay-Jay Adeniji(24 - 5) from Enugu, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Adeniji gets on the inside.  Adeniji sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nwosu throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Adeniji advances into close range and manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Nwosu lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
