Leif Krag vs Ove Bang

Boxing Daily Report from the Norway National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/04/2022 from Oslo, Norway:

The Oslo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leif Krag (20 - 9) who hails from Bergen, Norway and Ove Bang(27 - 5) from Oslo, Norway.  

Round 1: 

Bang is looking to close the distance.  Bang quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bang advances into close range.  Krag lands a right uppercut.  
Bang closes the distance.  Bang pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Krag is looking to keep his distance.  Krag drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Bang attempts to land a jab, but Krag sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Bang advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Bang steps inside.  Bang sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Krag steps to the outside.  Krag stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Bang lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Krag tries to keep the action at long range.  Bang lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Bang gets on the inside.  Bang pivots from in front of his opponent, but Krag lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Krag switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bang's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Krag is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Krag steps away from his opponent and tries to land a cross, but Bang sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Bang lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Bang is on target with a cross to his opponents body.
