Quin Campoy vs Quinto Escandon

Boxing Daily Report from the Paraguay National Finals 2022,  taking place on 14/04/2022 from Ciudad del Este, Paraguay:

The Ciudad del Este venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quin Campoy (18 - 10) who hails from Capiata, Paraguay and Quinto Escandon(14 - 4) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  

Round 1: 

Escandon gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Campoy dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Escandon manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Escandon tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Campoy tries to keep the action at long range.  Campoy feints a left, and then lands a solid overhand left.

Campoy throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook to Campoy's body.  
Campoy steps away from his opponent.  Escandon goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Campoy's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Escandon manouvers Campoy onto the ropes.  Escandon pivots to the right of his opponent.  Escandon attempts to land a jab, but Campoy dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Escandon switches the action to the outside.  Campoy hits home with a solid jab.  
Escandon gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut.  
Escandon forces Campoy to back into the ropes.  Escandon drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Campoy attempts to land a jab, but Escandon dodges the shot and counters with a solid cross.

Campoy is on target with a firm left hook to Escandon's body.
