Kee-hee Shon vs Chul Lee

Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/04/2022 from Busan, South Korea:

The Busan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kee-hee Shon (15 - 7) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Chul Lee(25 - 4) from Seoul, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Shon lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Shon pivots from in front of his opponent, but Lee is on target with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shon connects with a left uppercut.  Shon attempts to land a right hook, but Lee blocks the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Shon is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross.  
Shon switches the action to the outside and hits home with an overhand right.  
Shon sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Lee tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Shon switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Shon lands a jab.  Shon throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Shon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Shon lands an overhand right followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Lee steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Shon is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but Lee slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Shon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a hard jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shon's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
