Sid Gezi vs Okal Mutezo

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimbabwe National Finals 2022,  taking place on 26/04/2022 from Harare, Zimbabwe:

The Harare venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sid Gezi (18(3) - 9) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Okal Mutezo(24(1) - 4) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  

Round 1: 

Gezi lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mutezo advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mutezo sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Gezi connects with a sharp left hook.  
Mutezo connects with a left hook.  
Mutezo is on target with a left uppercut.

Mutezo pivots to the right of his opponent, but Gezi is on target with a left uppercut.

Mutezo switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  
Mutezo gets on the inside and manages to force Gezi onto the ropes.  Mutezo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mutezo throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gezi steps to the outside and hits home with an overhand left.  
Mutezo strikes his opponents body with a jab.
