Niao-ka Yow vs Yo Sum

Boxing Daily Report from the China National Finals 2023,  taking place on 11/03/2023 from Liuzhou, China:

The Liuzhou venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Niao-ka Yow (15 - 16) who hails from Tianjin, China and Yo Sum(16(2) - 17) from Chengdu, China.  

Round 1: 

Yow gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Sum is on target with a left hook.  
Yow throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Sum switches the action to the outside.  Yow is on target with a solid overhand left.

Yow closes the distance.  Sum lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sum lands a left hook.  
Yow is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Sum's body.  
Yow is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.

Sum leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Yow drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Yow tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.
