Orlando Barquero vs Paco Olivar

Boxing Daily Report from the Cuba National Finals 2023,  taking place on 11/03/2023 from Santa Clara, Cuba:

The Santa Clara venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Middleweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Orlando Barquero (7 - 6) who hails from Camaguey, Cuba and Paco Olivar(20 - 15(1)) from Holguin, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Olivar waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Barquero snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Barquero sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Olivar drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Olivar pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Barquero tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Barquero tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Barquero quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Olivar drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Olivar lands a stiff jab.  
Barquero advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Olivar blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Olivar pivots to the left of his opponent.  Barquero throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Barquero drives a solid jab into his opponents face.  
Barquero finds the target with a jab.  
Barquero lands with a stinging jab.  
Olivar lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Barquero closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Barquero tries to keep the action at long range.  Olivar lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Olivar sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barquero attempts to land a cross, but Olivar dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Olivar tries to land a jab, but Barquero sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Olivar feints a left hook, and then attempts to land a left uppercut, but Barquero blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barquero gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
