Karr Heide vs Toste Rasmus

Boxing Daily Report from the Denmark National Finals 2023,  taking place on 11/03/2023 from Copenhagen, Denmark:

The Copenhagen venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Karr Heide (29 - 6) who hails from Odense, Denmark and Toste Rasmus(24 - 7) from Aarhus, Denmark.  

Round 1: 

Rasmus is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Heide is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Rasmus advances into close range.  Rasmus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rasmus steps inside and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Rasmus closes the distance and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Heide lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Rasmus is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rasmus lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Rasmus switches the action to the outside.  Rasmus contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Heide finds the target with a jab.  
Heide lands with a stinging jab.  
Rasmus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab to Heide's body.  
Heide tries to step out of his opponents range and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Rasmus is looking to close the distance.  Rasmus sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Heide lands a left hook.

Rasmus pivots from in front of his opponent, but Heide drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Rasmus tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Rasmus is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Heide sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Heide is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Heide tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rasmus closes the distance.  Rasmus sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Rasmus pivots to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Rasmus steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Heide connects with a left hook.  
Rasmus gets on the inside.  Rasmus pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
