Jaguar Guzman vs Juan Clara

Boxing Daily Report from the Honduras National Finals 2023,  taking place on 26/03/2023 from Tegucigalpa, Honduras:

The Tegucigalpa venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Flyweight divison.

Guzman walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Guzman sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Guzman is on target with a solid jab.  
Clara advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but Guzman blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Guzman lands a cross to Clara's body.  
Guzman voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Clara connects with a right hook.  Clara attempts to land a right hook, but Guzman slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Guzman lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Clara steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
