Boxing Daily Report from the India National Finals 2023,  taking place on 26/03/2023 from Ghaziabad, India:

The Ghaziabad venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zuffur Kazmi (4 - 4) who hails from Ahmedabad, India and Ajeet Shokeen(28 - 10) from Chennai, India.

Shokeen switches the action to the outside.  Shokeen sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Shokeen closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Shokeen throws a left uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kazmi steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Shokeen's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Shokeen manouvers Kazmi onto the ropes.  Shokeen pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a hard jab.
