Eoghan Shea vs Ronan McQueen

Boxing Daily Report from the Ireland National Finals 2023,  taking place on 26/03/2023 from Limerick, Ireland:

The Limerick venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Eoghan Shea (19 - 16) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Ronan McQueen(2 - 7) from Waterford, Ireland.  

Round 1: 

Shea is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Shea lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Shea is on target with a cross.  
McQueen closes the distance.  Shea tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Shea sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a cross into his opponents body.  
McQueen closes the distance and manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  McQueen lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.
