Sajid Kamel vs Zuffur Basha

Boxing Daily Report from the Malaysia National Finals 2023,  taking place on 11/04/2023 from Shah Alam, Malaysia:

The Shah Alam venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sajid Kamel (2 - 1) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Zuffur Basha(22 - 14) from Kuching, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Basha gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Basha advances into close range.  Kamel lands a solid right hook.  
Kamel tries to keep the action at long range.  Basha hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Basha connects with a right hook.  
Basha quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Kamel steps to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Basha is on target with a left hook to Kamel's body.  
Basha steps inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Basha lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Basha lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Basha lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Basha steps inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Basha connects with a left uppercut.  
Kamel steps away from his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Basha cuts off the ring, trapping Kamel on the ropes.  Basha lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Basha ties up his opponent.  Kamel uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Basha behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Basha throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Basha clinches his opponent.  Basha pushes his forearm into Kamel's face.  The ref breaks Basha's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Basha lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Basha walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Kamel throws a left uppercut, but Basha holds on to his opponent.  Basha pushes his forearm into Kamel's face.  The referee warns Basha and breaks the clinch.  
Basha lands a right uppercut.  
Basha closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Basha lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.

Basha closes the distance.  Kamel throws a left hook, but Basha ties up his opponent.  Kamel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Basha's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Basha lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Basha is looking to close the distance and forces Kamel to back into the red corner.  Basha lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.
