Geoff Williams vs Joseph Pahua

Boxing Daily Report from the New Zealand National Finals 2023,  taking place on 11/04/2023 from Waitakere, New Zealand:

The Waitakere venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Super Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Geoff Williams (8 - 26(2)) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Joseph Pahua(25 - 7) from North Shore, New Zealand.  

Round 1: 

Williams lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Williams pivots from in front of his opponent, but Pahua finds the target with a solid jab.  
Pahua cuts off the ring, trapping Williams in the corner.  Pahua attempts to land a left uppercut, but Williams parries the shot and counters with a cross.
