Boxing Daily Report from the Puerto Rico National Finals 2023,  taking place on 17/04/2023 from San Juan, Puerto Rico:

The San Juan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Alvino Amante (35(3) - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Salvador Carvajal(27 - 5) from Carolina, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Carvajal switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Amante quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a solid left uppercut.  
Carvajal lands with a spiteful jab.  
Amante forces Carvajal to back into the ropes.  Amante lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.
