Sung-ryong Chu vs Eun-sun Jon

Boxing Daily Report from the South Korea National Finals 2023,  taking place on 26/04/2023 from Asan, South Korea:

The Asan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sung-ryong Chu (8 - 20) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Eun-sun Jon(16 - 18) from Busan, South Korea.  

Round 1: 

Jon feints a cross, fooling Chu into throwing a right hook counter.  Jon is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Chu is looking to close the distance.  Chu sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jon hits home with a right hook.  
Jon attempts to land a jab, but Chu sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Chu lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Jon feints a cross, and then throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Jon walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Jon finds the target with a jab.
