Boxing Daily Report from the Venezuela National Finals 2023,  taking place on 26/04/2023 from Maracay, Venezuela:

The Maracay venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Welterweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Laredo (21 - 17(2)) who hails from Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela and Manny Delfino(3 - 4) from Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela.  

Round 1: 

Delfino quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Laredo is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Delfino digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Laredo tries to keep the action at long range and connects with an overhand left.  
Laredo steps away from his opponent and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.
