Boxing Daily Report from the Americas Boxing Championships 2024,  taking place on 09/01/2024 from Maracaibo, Venezuela:

The Maracaibo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fausto Cordoba (28(2) - 8) who hails from Mixco, Guatemala and Noe Arebalo(23 - 15(1)) from Panama City, Panama.

Arebalo is looking desparately tired as he staggers back to his corner.  At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cordoba's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Arebalo's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
