Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2024,  taking place on 11/03/2024 from Toronto, Canada:

The Toronto venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Seyrig (25 - 10) who hails from Vaughan, Canada and Richie Glendinning(24 - 11) from Brampton, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Seyrig quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.

Glendinning pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Glendinning pivots to the right of his opponent, but Seyrig snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Glendinning pivots to the right of his opponent, but Seyrig drives a left hook into Glendinning's body.  
Glendinning switches the action to the outside.  Seyrig lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Seyrig is looking to close the distance and forces Glendinning to back into the ropes.  Seyrig is on target with a right hook.
