The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Light Flyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dimos Riveron (20(1) - 18(4)) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Juan Briceno(9 - 27) from San Jose, Costa Rica.

Briceno lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Briceno is on target with a right hook to Riveron's body.  
Briceno is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Briceno throws a left uppercut, but Riveron clinches his opponent.  Riveron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Briceno lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Riveron ties up his opponent.  Riveron leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Riveron's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Briceno throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Briceno ties up his opponent.  Riveron leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Riveron pivots to the side of his opponent.  Riveron tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Briceno SLAMS a big cross into his opponents face.  RIVERON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Briceno!
