Farhan Ben vs Danyaal Rahmani

Boxing Daily Report from the Algeria National Finals 2024,  taking place on 11/03/2024 from Oran, Algeria:

The Oran venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Farhan Ben (9 - 4) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Danyaal Rahmani(18 - 22) from Algiers, Algeria.  

Round 1: 

Ben drives a solid left hook into Rahmani's body.  
Rahmani pivots from in front of his opponent, but Ben lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rahmani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Ben drives a right hook into Rahmani's body.  
Rahmani lands a firm right hook.  
Rahmani tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Rahmani lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rahmani closes the distance.  Ben lands a right hook.  Ben throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Rahmani time to recover.  
Ben drives a firm right uppercut into Rahmani's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ben's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Rahmani sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Ben lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ben pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  
Ben steps away from his opponent.  Ben quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Rahmani hits home with a cross.  
Ben sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands with a sharp jab.  
Ben hits home with a solid left hook.  
Rahmani gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ben feints a left, and then lands a solid jab.  
Rahmani walks Ben down, trapping him on the ropes.  Rahmani lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Rahmani's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!

Ben is on target with a sharp left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Rahmani lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Rahmani lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Rahmani holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rahmani pushes his forearm into Ben's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ben sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ben pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Rahmani quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rahmani throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Rahmani holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Rahmani pushes his forearm into Ben's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rahmani to stop fouling.  
Rahmani pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Rahmani steps inside.  Ben throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Rahmani ties up his opponent.  Rahmani leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
